Langstone Harbour, Hampshire, 2026
A follow-up to the earlier Langstone Harbour gallery, gathered over several return visits: swans on the water and in the mist by the boathouse, oystercatchers on golden sand, a kingfisher in flight, tufted ducks up close, and the old windmill silhouetted against sunset and moonrise skies.
The light did as much work as the birds. A sundog appeared beside the lookout tower, the sun burst through storm clouds over the waders, and the reeds and boathouse turned to silhouettes as the sun went down.
