Idsworth, Hampshire, 2026
St Hubert's Chapel at Idsworth sits alone on a hillside above a buttercup meadow, reached by a long path across open farmland, and holds a remarkable set of medieval wall paintings inside: a Doom painting, a shepherd roundel, a royal coat of arms and painted saints around the east window. Outside, the meadow itself provided a lone tree on the horizon, sunlit woodland edges and close-up buttercups.
