Farlington Marshes, Portsmouth, Hampshire, 2026
Farlington Marshes is a nature reserve on the edge of Langstone Harbour, and this short set has Canada geese in flight, a gnarled lone tree, a still pond holding a perfect reflection, and swans and geese gathering on the lake as the light faded into dusk.
The reserve is run by the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust, and its grazing marsh and lagoons draw large numbers of birds in winter, including dark-bellied brent geese. These four frames come from a visit in February 2026, on the same day as the Staunton Country Park set a few miles away.
