Cosham, Portsmouth, Hampshire, 2026
A short session shooting long exposures over the motorway at Cosham on the edge of Portsmouth, catching the curving trails of headlights and tail lights against a dusk sky, road signage lit purple in the fading light, and a more symmetrical view straight down the carriageway.
All three frames are 15-second exposures at f/11 and ISO 100, long enough to turn every car into a line of light, taken on an evening in February 2026 as the sky moved from sunset into dusk. The two wide views were taken at 24mm, and the tighter view of the trails curving past the water, lost in purple mist, at 105mm.
